Job Opportunity – Assistant Business Psychologist

A letter of recommendation from our Assistant Business Psychologist, Anya Moore, who is leaving Impact to go travelling around Australia, New Zealand and Bali:

“I recommend Impact as a workplace where opportunities to grow are endless. During my 12-month internship, I was able to grow personally and professionally. Through hands-on client project work and a culture which fosters strong teamwork and co-operation, I was given the opportunity to apply and develop my university skills in the real world. I have been involved in a wide variety of tasks and interesting projects which have catered to my own personal interests. For example, I love being creative and have had plenty of opportunities to do so. I was offered a fulltime position with Impact following my Internship; however, I have decided to go travelling for three months before a planned relocation to London for personal reasons. I have been given fantastic support by Shelly, Impact’s Chief Executive, who has offered me a role should I reconsider staying in the North on my return and she has facilitated introductions down south to find a position where I can continue my career. My time with Impact has been superb, and I am proud to be part of a team who are committed to delivering quality services for their clients. I’m going to miss them greatly”.

Following Anya’s departure, we are delighted to announce that we are recruiting two new Assistant Business Psychologists to join the team at Impact – Psychology for Business this April on a 12-month fixed term contract. Become part of our team to kickstart your occupational psychology career!

You will be involved in a wide variety of projects, supporting our occupational psychologists to provide solutions to clients. We will give you the opportunity to develop your skills in areas such as facilitation, assessment and design, across team workshops and assessment centres. You will be a qualified Test User in Occupational Ability and Personality to administer, score and provide feedback in both written reports and verbally, to clients and candidates. We are looking for individuals who are interested in either business development or marketing, confident at networking with current and new clients, detail conscious and have a passion for being creative.

The successful candidates will share our values of openness and integrity, will work collaboratively, and be highly motivated, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will be someone with high potential who will have the opportunity to develop in the role and use skills that you have gained during your MSc and work experience. Relevant work experience would be a significant advantage.
