Job Description

Job Title:                            Learning and Development Assistant – Client Services

Holidays:                             30 days + birthday day off

Salary:                                  £21-22,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Work pattern:                  Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (flexible working considered)

Location:                            Office-based, Whitefield, Greater Manchester

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our close-knit and friendly team as a Learning & Development Assistant – Client Services. We are seeking a highly motivated, proactive and well-organised professional to provide operational and administrative support and play an integral part in the delivery of excellent occupational psychology services to our clients.

Job Specification

  • Deal with telephone and email incoming and outgoing correspondence and answer general queries, providing a reliable first point of contact for all learning and development matters
  • Demonstrate outstanding customer service
  • Schedule meetings and provide assistance in planning and delivery of events, e.g., workshops, coaching interventions, Development Centres, etc.
  • Support the Business Psychologists and Chief Exec with project management and learning and development activities, including preparing materials, setting up psychometric tests, handling correspondence with candidates/participants, taking notes during meetings, and providing technical support during virtual deliveries
  • Manage diaries for team members
  • Maintain the company’s database and manage the project management system (Monday.com)
  • Support the company’s marketing strategy and manage Impact’s social media accounts
  • Identify networking opportunities
  • Undertake any other administrative duties appropriate to the level of the post as required
  • Always maintain confidentiality and promote equality, diversity and inclusion
  • Be aware of personal development needs, taking steps to enhance own performance and professional development
  • Carry out all work in a manner consistent with the values of Impact Psychology for Business

Person Specification

  •  Minimum of 2-years relevant administrative experience (essential)
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment (essential)
  • Outstanding customer service (essential)
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a professional manner in person, writing and telephone (essential)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication (essential)
  • Ability to organise and prioritise a busy workload to meet tight deadlines (essential)
  • Excellent skills in supporting and developing office systems (essential)
  • Ability to use own initiative, problem solve and be adaptable (essential)
  • Ability to consult with colleagues and work as part of a team (essential)
  • Outstanding attention to detail (essential)
  • A discreet and confidential approach to sensitive personal data (essential)
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) (essential)
  • Good knowledge of how to use video platforms, including Zoom and Microsoft Teams (essential)
  • Good knowledge of office administration systems, e.g., Monday.com (desirable)
  • Minimum of A level education (essential)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (desirable)
  • CIPD Level 3 Qualification in L&D/HR (desirable)
